At UT Prep, education includes learning to keep our commitments and to care about the lives of others. Wearing our uniform each Monday is a simple, visible way to take part in our school community.
Our annual donation to SickKids connects this everyday expectation with a wider purpose: supporting children’s health. We want students to carry a sense of responsibility beyond the classroom, and to recognise that the communities we care about extend beyond our own campus.
How Uniform Day works
A clear school expectation, with a commitment to giving back.
Wear the school uniform
Monday is Uniform Day at UT Preparatory Academy. Students are expected to attend in their school uniform.
Uniform non-compliance fine
A CAD $20 fine applies when a student does not wear the school uniform on Monday.
A donation to SickKids
Each academic year, UT Prep donates the money collected through these uniform fines to SickKids.
Students are expected to wear their uniform. The fine is a consequence of non-compliance, rather than a paid alternative to Uniform Day.
Why SickKids?
A school is part of a wider community. Supporting children’s health is one way we put that belief into practice.
Through our annual donation, funds collected under the Uniform Day policy go towards a cause that matters to children and families. It is a practical connection between responsibility in school and care for others.
Our message to students is simple: show up for your school community, and make room in your thinking for the people beyond it.
